Harwick Shawl Pattern

This lovely classic shawl has a lacey accent center that draws the eye. Textured and drapey, this shawl is perfect if you are looking for a smaller wrap. Wear it as a cowl with the lace center draping in front, or as a silky smooth vibrant wrap.

"Harwick" Shawl by Taiga Hilliard is written for worsted weight; however, the designer expresses that this design can be easily adjusted to any weight and size. It has been knitted with Merino Light (fingering weight) using a US6/4.00mm in the Amber shawl photo. The designer recommends testing your gauge prior to beginning.

It is a sport weight yarn with 360 yds per skein, so you would need to adjust gauge accordingly as the shawl calls for approximately 400 grams of Merino Light.

• Hook Size: US B1 - E4 (2.25 - 3.5mm)

Recommended Needle size:

• US6 (4.0 mm)

Gauge:

• 18.0 stitches = 4 inches
