'solv' Swedish for heddle. This material is very durable polyester that has been carefully heat treated to minimize stretching. The cord looks as if it's braided or crocheted for optimum strength. No knots or breaks will be found in this cord. With it's open construction, this heddle cord by the yard (one continuous strand) makes threading a breeze and almost eliminates friction with the warp. Tie up your loom in no time with Texsolv cord. 

The ends can be dyed with our Acid Dyes to make the warping process much easier by marking the different sizes so you can see which shaft is being threaded.
