As we say farewell to the Seven Kingdoms, pay homage to the Dragon Queen with a knit "Dragon Wing Cowl" from JessiAtHome. You will need approximately 208 yards of Aran/Worsted Weight yarn and US 8 needles to knit your one of a kind wing. To clasp your wing, you will also require 3 3/4" buttons or horn/toggle buttons to finish the effect.

This pattern is not as challenging as it looks. The Knit Dragon Cowl pattern uses simple increases and dropped stitches, which are picked up to be re-knit in bunches. These will give you the ridges throughout the cowl. Designer Jessie Rayot emphasizes the need to count and not drop stitches until the pattern says to do so.
